Monica Solari, Continental Drift Event Production

On behalf of the Mayor of London and the Diwali in London committee, I wanted to thank you all for your amazing hard work on Diwali on Trafalgar Square on Sunday 9th October.   We can never manage events without all the great people behind the scenes making the cogs turn. Each and every one of you plays an integral part, no matter how big, or small, and I am incredibly thankful to you all for ensuring the event ran smoothly, safely and successfully.   We welcomed over 27,000 people to the Square, who revelled in the glorious sunshine and wonderful array of activities across the Square. The costumes, colours and atmosphere across the whole event was amazing and seeing the joy and happiness on everyone’s faces was my personal highlight.    I do hope you all enjoyed working at the event and were pleased with how it was all delivered.  Please do pass on my thanks to all your colleagues both on site and in the background, as I know how much work goes into producing something like this.
