BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend is always an eagerly anticipated event in the calendar, and this year’s event in Dundee featured Lewis Capaldi, Niall Horan. Wet Leg, Zara Larsson, Nothing But Thieves, Becky Hill, Cat Burns and many others. The Royal Windsor Hose Show took place recently, with Event Hire UK supplying a wide range of furniture and equipment, contributing to the overall success of this prestigious event. Held in the private grounds of Windsor Castle, the Royal Windsor Horse Show was first staged in 1943 to help raise funds for the War effort. Last weekend saw the Grand Final of Eurovision 2023 take place at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena. Since the first-ever Eurovision Song Contest in 1956, the event has grown hugely in popularity. The 2022 edition was won by Ukraine, with the UK finishing second. And, whilst the following year’s event is normally awarded to the winners, for obvious reasons it couldn’t be held in Ukraine, and so was held in the UK.
